So just to let everyone know what has been keeping me SO busy that I haven't been posting, I thought I would post some of the work that I have been producing for my Architecture Dept. This should last me at least another week... :)
For all of the art work, charcoal and pencil, we were not allowed to use straight edges or guides of any kind in an attempt to train our eyes to do everything by sight.

This is for your architecture class? I mean, they're really good! Have you been studying drawing, too, or do they teach you this there?
Wow all the art and things you built are awesome! You make me want to pull out the old pencil and draw again.
Awesome Alan- really you have such a talent for this. I hope it is going well for you. Love you-
AMAZING!!! its all beautiful!
Sheesh I didn't realize you were such an artist...very talented you are!! Keep it up you are going to love the end result, I promise it will end! :) It looks like you are enjoying yourself along the way, that is definitely most important! Love ya!!
Hey thanks for sharing!!! What fun to come to your site and actually see your work. My favorites are the very first one with leaves, and the folds in the cloth. I would love to see them in person and to have you explain something about each one. Keep up the great work!
hugs
Alan. Dear, Dear Alan. I am stinkin' impressed!! Sheesh man. It's a wonder you have time to breathe! I am happy to see you doing so well- your work looks fabulous!
Love you! :)
I love the drawings. Are you going to school to be an architect or was this just a class you're taking? I almost switched my major when I took drafting because I loved it so much.
Hey Ty and Alan!!
I hope you're both doing well! Alan, great drawings- those are amazing!
Ty, happy birthday a few weeks back :) Sorry it's taken me so long- I tried writing you an email on your birthday, but apparently I have the wrong address.
If you ever had a second to drop me a line, I'd love to get a current email address! Ours is daniel_and_penny@hotmail.com.
So we're moving to southern California in 3 weeks- we're so excited!! :) First year of teaching is done for me, and Daniel will start teaching in the fall. If you ever want to visit Disneyland, let us know- we're pretty close! :) Have a great weekend, and hopefully I'll talk to you both before too long.
Much love,
Penny
